In 2040, Taipei has entered the stage of AI smart city, and the bus stops on the street are like real breathing plants, as reported by Taipei News Bureau:Mimovera is a bionic bus stop design, inspired by the inductive response of Mimosa. It features a bionic retractable rain cover that senses changes in humidity. When the moisture level in the air rises to a certain level and it starts to rain, the rain cover will automatically expand to provide more space for the waiting passengers to avoid having to wait for the bus in the rain. Not only does the film provide protection from the rain, but it also helps improve the environment. The surface of the membrane has numerous tiny pores and the inside has lines like the veins of a plant leaf, filled with carbon trapping microalgae. This design mimics the respiration of plants, allowing polluted air and water to be inhaled, purified, and then discharged.
