  1. If you are under 18 years of age and still wish to participate in this Call for Submissions, please read, understand, and agree to this Intellectual Property Rights Statement together with your parent, legal representative, or guardian. When you check the box indicating “I have read and agree to the Intellectual Property Rights Statement of the Ideathon,” it is understood that your parent, legal representative, or guardian has thoroughly read, understood, and agreed to accept this Intellectual Property Rights Statement. Should the submissions you provide violate any provision of this statement, the legal representative or guardian shall bear legal responsibility jointly.
  2. The intellectual property rights of the content submitted to Ideathon shall belong to the submitter (including individuals or teams).
  3. Submitters shall guarantee that the information provided for this event, including but not limited to the contents submitted, texts and images, presentations, videos, and other materials, does not infringe upon others' intellectual property rights, or other rights, nor does it violate any laws; otherwise, the organizer and the event coordinator shall revoke their eligibility for awards and any awards granted. Should the organizer or event coordinator be subjected to any claims of rights by third parties due to the aforementioned issues, the submitter shall immediately resolve the issue, and any resulting litigation costs, attorney fees, or other related expenses shall be borne by the submitter. If the claims result in direct or indirect damage to the organizer or the event coordinator, including but not limited to damage to its reputation, the submitter shall also be liable for compensation.
  4. The submitter agrees to grant, without compensation, the organizer and the event coordinator the right to use the texts and images, presentations, photos, videos, and other materials provided for this event. These include, but are not limited to, the use of names and portraits of the submitters in any region, at any time, and for any number of times, for both profit and non-profit purposes. Such use includes, but is not limited to, printing, exhibiting, promoting, reporting, publishing, making public, or sublicensing to third parties for use. The submitter further agrees that the organizer and the event coordinator may adapt, reproduce, edit, and exercise all other rights that a copyright owner is entitled to under copyright law, without further notice to the submitter. If such actions do not constitute defamation or any infringement of the author's moral rights, the submitters agree not to exercise their moral rights against the organizer or the event coordinator.
  5. The submitter agrees to grant, without compensation, the organizer and the event coordinator the right to take photographs and video recordings during the event or to request the submitter to provide relevant photos or videos for the purpose of documentation, promotion, and marketing of this event or related activities, and to publish the aforementioned photos or videos in any form. For the awarded works, the event coordinator shall have the priority right to negotiate the transfer or licensing of the intellectual property rights of the work itself and its derivatives.
