In 2040, global sea levels may rise by 60 centimeters, posing risks to 90% of major cities worldwide due to the effects of sea level rise, as well as limited land resources and pollution. In order to address the increasing energy demands and effectively utilize expanding ocean areas, the concept of floating cities is being developed to provide human habitation.

MARINE CITY.TW takes Taiwan's environment as a design reference to construct a flexible and sustainable floating community. Based on the principles of sustainable development, it guides the flow of energy, water, food, and waste, and develops maritime facilities such as offshore swimming pools and greenhouse glasshouses, laying the blueprint for a modular ocean metropolis.
